Suzy became the Director of Song of the Pines Chorus in 2003. In May 2006, she led the chorus to a first place victory in Region 21 Small Chorus (Division A) and fifth place overall at the regional competition in Phoenix, Arizona. In 2010, under Suzy's direction, the chorus was awarded a third first place medal and an unsurpassed fourth place worldwide ranking in their Division. This ranking earned Song of the Pines an invitation to participate in the International Division A chorus competition in Houston, October 2011, where the chorus placed fourth in the world! Suzy's talent, enthusiasm and bubbly personality constantly inspire Song of the Pines to achieve a higher level of singing with each performance.
Suzy is a third generation Sweet Adeline. Her life has been laced with singing, teaching, directing and performing barbershop harmony for over 46 years. Directing, coaching, singing and teaching bring Suzy joy along with her family, who remain steadfast in their support of her Sweet Adeline career.

From the moment Terry walked into a Sweet Adeline rehearsal, she was hooked on barbershop. She became a charter member of Sound of Silver Chorus, Region 16, in 1979, and has been a member of several quartets, competing with Silver Edition for four years singing baritone. Terry became a member of Song of the Pines Chorus in May of 1991, and directed the chorus from 1998-2003, when Suzy Lobaugh accepted the role as Director. As Assistant Director, Terry happily jumps in and takes over whenever the opportunity presents itself, and contributes her talent by serving as Ensemble Coordinator and Bass Section Leader.
